Forecast Discussion: Ozone begins to increase for the next few days with continued clear skies, light southwesterly winds, and climbing temperatures. On Monday, expect air quality in the Moderate range. On Tuesday, the Baltimore-Washington corridor could reach Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups AQI with temperatures in the 90's, while upper Moderate AQI is likely elsewhere. A weak cold front approaches from the west on Wednesday and looks to pass through the region by Wednesday night. This front should bring windier conditions ahead of it with a slight increase in cloud cover improving air quality back to the Moderate range. |
